Ok. So, I got these headphones as my old ones were fraying and constantly fading out on me and pulled the trigger on a new one.My primary reason to buy this calmbee gaming headset was that it worked on the 2.4gz Wi-Fi wireless system for over 60 hours which was the decisive factor since i tend to play a lot and love to move around between games as well.While they also have a Bluetooth version aimed at mobile devices, whenever I have evaluated out Bluetooth headphones, I have not liked it much as they tend to break up every now and then if there was a signal interference or you tend to move out of range between games or pauses.You are also able to use it with the normal wired setup for high fidelity sound as well as if you ran out of battery charge which is a welcome addition.installation was a breeze. It worked right out of the box as soon as i installed the dongle and turned the headphones on - they were connected right away.My next surprise was on how good they sounded with the 50mm drivers. clean and crisp with all gunfire and sound effects sounded realistic. Their claim of having double chamber drivers seems to do the trick because the low and high frequency sounds do sound clear and distinct like excellent quality floor speakers.The microphone is good enough for what it is intended to do- speak with other players during the gaming sessions but is not a professional type as per information and feedback in the settings console.This means it cannot double as a podcast recorder or record your own play to stream, but then that it is not what it was intended for.The build quality is excellent and the aluminum frame covering the drivers and head band looks sturdy enough to hold its own without feeling flimsy.The headband material and earcups are said to be made from memory protein material which I cannot vouch for since I am not an expert on these things, but they are amazingly comfortable to wear for over the 4 hours I played on the weekend without feeling heavy or tired around the ears.Headphone wires are thick and look like they are soldered well without fear of breaking.What surprised and delighted me was the addition of the volume wheel, which was a dial analog, kind of the 60's potentiometers? instead of push button electronics we are used to seeing these days.Love them as they are so easy to roll up or down the volume.Overall Recommendation: Buy them and you won't be disappointed.Update: Tried Bluetooth and it connected!! now i can use with my mobile devices as well!!
