I found these through Amazon Marketplace to replace ones that I broke. A retailer had discovered them gathering dust on a back shelf. Sony promoted these for use in running and other activities, but I use them primarily in bed so I can listen to the radio without disturbing my wife. They are lightweight, store 15 stations digitally, and have decent reception in the rural area where i live. Neither Sony nor any other company makes these or comparable radio headphones as far as I can tell. The only negative is that the ear cushions are made from flimsy plastic foam that quickly wear out or fall off.The radio reception is very poor. Cheaper and better to buy separate radio and headsets.I owned this product for several years, while commuting to college and studying. I used them often, and they always worked flawlessly, with a nice, long battery life. The review that complains about the poor reception was probably not using them with an mp3 player. There is a built-in phono jack, so you can connect them to an MP3 player, and the wire that is used to connect it to the player also doubles as the antenea. In order to get good reception when not using an MP3 player, I had a small cord that plugged in. Not ideal, but the headset is so light and comfortable, the small, dangling cord was barely noticable.I just bought a used pair as far as I can tell they are no longer being made. My old pair was stolen. But even used, they're still awesome. These headphones are really great for working out, they are light, comfortable and the sound quality is excellent. You can connect to a CD player or computer with relative ease and the sound is still great. They fit differently than most headphones, and it takes some getting used to, but they are comfortable.
